Dear Parishioners:

I thank everyone for their powerful prayers as we begin our stewardship journey.

It may have been the thinking of many that stewardship is all about money. In reality, stewardship is all about how we show our love and gratitude to God. Stewardship is how we use the different gifts God has given us. Stewardship is how we deepen our relationship with God and with one another. Stewardship is about doing our part in building up God’s kingdom here on earth.

When the first disciples began to follow Jesus, our Lord turned and asked them, “What are you looking for?” (John 1:37).  This question Jesus posed to his first disciples is the same question that is now asked of you, my dear parishioners. What are you looking for from your parish? To grow closer to God and your fellow parishioners? To have an opportunity to make a difference?

Our stewardship journey can help you find what you are looking for. If you get involved in the various parish activities, you will grow closer to God and your fellow parishioners. If you can invest more of your time, talent, you will make a difference.

There is work for all of us to do to make our parish what the Lord wants it to be – a community of his true disciples. Each of us is called to share what we are and what we have in order to grow closer to God and with one another and make a difference.

As always, I thank God for you and pray for his continued blessings on you and your loved ones.

Gratefully,

Rev. Anacleto S. Asebias, Jr. Administrator
