Ushers and Greeters

The role of a church usher is to help first-time guests, repeat visitors, and members experience the sacredness and joy of celebrating the Sacrifice of the Mass. The ministry of church ushers plays a vital role in the hospitality and welcoming of the parishioners of the Ascension Catholic Church. Duties include helping people find seating, collecting offerings, keeping order at the entrance, distributing bulletins, and attendance counting. Parishioners are needed to assist prior to, during and after Sunday Masses and Holy Days.
